Protecting Your Tips

You need to protect your ailerons. Having a worn-out skid that does not keep the ailerons off the ground is not doing you any good. It might be more aerodynamic, but it is not protecting your investment. If the trailing edge is starting to see abuse you should really consider replacing your wingtip skids. Wingtip wheels have a couple of nice features; they start off by being taller and give you more clearance, they make it easier ground handling, and make the roll-out easier if the wing is on the ground. He started instructing the day after his 18th birthday. Since then, Garret has represented the US Junior team in 2003 and 2005.
