This short discussion is not the best subject to review, but it may be the most important for your sailplane investment.
When you arrive at a glider port, what do you usually see? Some gliders? A lot of decrepit trailers, some rotting away? Or does the 3-year-old JS-3, AS33, Arcus, Twin Shark, etc., look like it has the plague?

Cruising at 55 the trailer was fine, at 57 mph it was a whole different story.
My mom was behind us as the trailer started touching the yellow and white line at very close intervals. She called on our hand held radios that the trailer was swaying. "Yeah no #$(&" was the response.

Cruising through the middle of the night I heard an odd clanking noise. After a few miles I pulled over to notice the round tongue had broke with less than an inch of metal remained.
Turns out that the round tongue was not strong enough when being towed by a RV. The theory being that the leverage caused by the long arm between the rear axle of the RV and the ball, would bounce the trailer.
