General Description
IMI Wing Stand - is designed as a solid, foldable, telescopic tripod with a tiltable top, which is covered with a smooth and adhesive rubber. The wing support takes up minimal space when the legs and top profile are folded.
The main center part is welded from steel and covered by yellow powder paint. All other main parts are made from anodized hardened aluminum, the screw connections are equipped with safety nuts.
IMI offers two types of Wing Stands:
Standard Wing Stand - The height of the support can be adjusted continuously and fastened with an adjusting screw. Suited for assembly or to tie down the glider outside in calm weather.
XXL Wing Stand - is a bigger, more stable, and robust Wing Stand for heavy open class or double seat gliders. This type of wing support has step-by-step height adjustment with a locking pin.
