LX Navigation has taken the essential elements of the LX Era and created a streamlined device that is both powerful and affordable.
The LX Era Essential delivers core functionality like a precise variometer, logbook, and simplified navigation that points to your takeoff location, at a fraction of the cost.
Ea Essential has the same hardware as Era, however it is not an IGC logger. It has very simple navigation. It can be upgraded to the full version Era anytime with a license.
Era Essential variometer features a backup battery, Wi-Fi & Bluetooth, simple navigation with airspace support, G-Meter, and more.

Backup battery is our standard - All our devices come with a backup battery that has at least 3 hours of battery juice in case of electrical failure.
We have been able to save numerous competition flights with backup battery power and made it a standard, because we understand how important it is, to have a backup.
