LXNAV AHRS Option
LXNAV AHRS
General Description
LXNAV AHRS Option - Attitude and heading reference system (AHRS) consists of sensors on three axes that provide attitude information for glider, roll pitch and yaw. It helps the pilot orientate and determine the attitude of the glider (represented by a yellow arrow). The ground is by default represented with brown and the sky with blue color. The line separating them is the horizon. Numbers along vertical axes show airplane pitch in degrees, numbers along horizontal line display heading and upper rounded scale displays bank (each line representing 10 degrees).
AHRS hardware is built into each Flight Computer and Vario unit. To see the artificial horizon on the screen it is necessary to activate that option.
