PZL Bielsko SZD 41A Jantar Standard

Price reduced. This is my SZD 41A Jantar Standard. It's ready to go anywhere and fly. Period. The price includes includes parachute, trailer and handling gear. The Softie parachute was new in Oct 2017, worn only a few times and repacked every year. The Custom trailer was manufactured in 2018. Glider main wheel and tube new 2018; new tail wheel, tube and brass hub in 2019. Glider was last flown in Oct 2020. The high and robust landing gear makes out-landings very survivable without damage. It a great plane to fly cross country in. The instrument panel has been upgraded with a Dittel FSG-2T radio and FLARM ATD display. Instruments have been laid out so they are easy to find, even under stress. Sale includes a Colibri II with current certification. The plane has dual main batteries and has been completely rewired, with terminal blocks, fuse blocks and disconnects for safety and ease of maintenance. The pneumatic lines have been updated and properly color coded per the Flight Manual. There is also a pneumatic disconnect to simplify removal of the panel. Safety locks have been installed on the multi-position seatback and glare shield so they will stay in place even on rough fields and under negative G's. Seat belts and seat cushion have been replaced. All certifications and inspections are up to date and good for the upcoming flying season: Parachute is being repacked for 2026; Colibri serviced by LX NAV Sept 2022. Last annual was done Sep 17/24 and a fresh annual will be provided upon sale. The plane is painted in polyurethane, not gel coated, so if you don't like what you see some time and a good 2-part polyurethane paint can change all that. One last thing; I flew the plane with a Garmin G5 AIS and GMU11 magnetometer (new in 2017) in place of the magnetic compass. I re-installed the magnetic compass because I was told that no one other than me would want to have an AIS in a glider. If you happen to be the exception to that statement I'll put the G5 system back in for an additional $1500.00
