Schleicher Tail Skid - ASW
General Description
Schleicher Tail Skid - AR Glider production tail skid for Schleicher (ASW) sailplanes. This tail skid fits the ASW–20, Pegase and other gliders.
These tail skids are constructed with solid polyurethane and cast iron with an inner metal support.
Dimensions for the ASW tail skid with metal plate is117 mm wide x 335 mm long and 90 mm high. Dimensions for ASW tail skid with roller blade wheel is 117 mm wide x 335 mm long x 105 mm high. The ASW tail skid has a flat mounting surface. The tail skid with metal plate has a cavity which holds up to 1 kilogram of lead pellets for adjusting center of gravity.
