General Description

Tefzel 16 Gauge Wire - Mil-Spec ETFE Insulated Electric Wire. Tefzel is a ethylene-tetrafluoroehtylene (ETFE) insulation. Tefzel is light, thin, resistant to abrasion, fuel, most chemicals, cuts and oil. It's designed for aerospace applications where dimensional tolerance, weight, and mechanical durability are required. The insulation is rated to 150°C (302°F). This wire exhibits high chemical and radiation resistance. This spec (M22759/16) is a tin-plated copper conductor that offers a cost savings over the silver-plated high-strength copper alloy which is available on M22759/17.

M22759/16-16-X - is a Tin Plated Copper, Single Layer of Extruded ETFE Jacketed Wire, 150°C. 

M27500-16TG2T14 - is a 2 Conductor cable with Tin coated round copper shielding and Tefzel jacket with an M22759/18 inner conductor.

This wire is commonly used in MIL-Spec and Aerospace applications.
