General Description

COBRA Front Trap Door Lock - Original manufacturer replacement part. 

Also used to replace the lock on the COBRA Lockable Drawer (“Long” lock only). 

Scope of delivery: Lock, key(s) and fixtures shown in the picture.

Typically Aluminum Top Trailers use the "Short" Lock and Composit Top Trailers use the "Long" Lock. Please verify before ordering.

• 18mm sleeve length: special version for the small aluminum front flaps (typically up to 1990)
• 40mm sleeve length: for aluminum and GRP front flaps (typically 1991-2021)
• 60mm sleeve length: for front flaps of double-shell GRP upper parts of single-seater trailers from model year 2021 (Special order please call.) (Typically 2022 - today)
• Please measure the required sleeve length on your trailer or on the old lock. Our information on sleeve length is only a guide.
• including key (Please be aware there can be between 1-3 keys included depending on how the item was received from COBRA.
• If you order a replacement lock, you will find the key number stamped on the existing key. For trailers built from around 2009, you will also find the key number on the gusset plate in the trailer, see pictures.
