Burkhart Grob created a beautiful sleek sailplane in 1979! The G104 is a 15m racing glider, designed for high-speed cross-countries, but also enabled to fly at slow airspeeds to maximize thermaling efficiency en route. N16UF is a great ship and flies well. Several innovative design features include seamless upper wing surface, and lower flaps / ailerons neatly tuck into the wing, all for minimum drag. The ailerons droop with the flaps, and the TOST CG hook is located in the main gear well, covered by the gear doors when the main gear is retracted. The trailer is in reasonable shape, functional and roadworthy, but it could use some work. UF is ready to assemble and fly right out of the box!
