General Description
Winter Instruments Hour Meter - Analog or Digital. Flying hours counters are installed wherever actual flying time has to be recorded, primarily a consideration in training and charter aircraft, although this instrument should not be missing in aircraft operated by clubs or by private individuals, where it likewise permits a check of inspection intervals to be kept.
Flying hours counter has an electrically driven counter mechanism and the readings are in hours and minutes. It is connected to the aircraft’s total pressure sensor and automatically switches on when airspeed increases to 60 km/h. This ensures that actual flying time only is recorded, while secondary times for take off and landing are ignored.

Both flying hors counter uses an operating voltage of
12-24 V. The consumption of the 1510 is appr. 20 mA, the 1500 appr. 2-4 mA. It is essential to ensure that polarity is correct when the instrument is connected to the power source.
