Stemme S10-V Motorglider Project SN: 14-013. Damaged during hurricane Katrina in August 2005. Was hangared at Lakefront Airport next to Lake Pontchartrain which flooded. Propellers, gearbox, slip ring assembly and carbon fiber drive shaft were in Germany for overhaul (not completed). A replacement Limbach L2400 engine, complete with magneto, alternator, starter and carbs, and nose cone were obtained from Embry-Riddles "Eco-Eagle" Stemme converted for the "Green Flight Challenge". The engine has 223.4 hours and includes copies of the logbook and oil analysis. The landing gear has been rebuilt with new elastomers, wheel bearings, tires, and tubes. The glider requires a complete rewire and refinish. Will sell as project for $70,000 or part out major assemblies. Glider is located in eastern PA. USA. Contact [email protected]
