Schleicher ASG-29 - 18m

This complete ASG-29 setup is ready to race or indulge in your big XC flight goals! I am selling my dream ship because I am taking a step back from racing to dedicate my time to mentoring new glider pilots in a DuoDiscus; this bird needs to go to a good home where she will be flown!

N129WX comes with factory 15M and 18M wingtips and is equipped with good avionics including 2 Flight Comptuers, 2 Varios, a PowerFLARM w/dedicated 57mm display, Dittel Radio, Trig Transponder, and Mountain High O2 system. Between the various instruments you have 3 IGC loggers, and 2 separate systems capable of displaying your Task/Map (the ClearNav & S80). The ship can be powered from 3 different batteries (all batteries included are high-quality Lithium units), and can trickle-charge the battery from the integrated solar panel on the turtledeck. An air extractor system is also integrated into the turtledeck. Wing tanks are in good condition and have been used regularly with no issues. One-man rigging and tow-out gear is all included and works well. An older parachute and many small spares come with the glider (such as an extra Dittel radio, extra horizontal stabilizer attach bolt, spare main tube, spare tailwheel tires, etc).

There are a few small spots where the glider is showing its age, but touchup work was performed by Schaefer Aviation in 2021 to clean up the aileron trailing edges and other common wear spots. New seals and turbulator tapes were put onto the entire glider at that time. Gelcoat is in excellent condition overall. The ship has not been flown in 2022 so a fresh annual will be provided at time of sale.
