Schempp-Hirth Standard Cirrus

I hate to sell it but not flying an airplane/glider is akin to child abuse... Dont do it. I've owned this glider since 2000 and have had a blast with it here in SW Colorado. I'm 6'3" @ 220 lbs - the Cirrus accomodated me just fine. It is said that the older generation glass sailplanes give you 90% of the performance at 10% of the price of the current generations of sailplanes. I can attest to that as the Cirrus always beats the rest to the top of the thermal - give me a two minute head start and try to catch me to the next one...
The logbooks are very detailed and complete from day one and I consider this glider to be one of the better examples of the Standard Cirrus. A good radio and some interior work would make this the perfect glider for a lower time, lower budget pilot.
