1979 LS3-A nicely refinished with polyurethane in 1998. Excellent classic, flapped XC ship. It was given to Huntsville Soaring by the estate of a former member. Log shows regular maintenance and probably a gear-up landing repair in 1989. Glider cleaned, lubed and inspected 11-Jan-2024 at 2000 hours. Could use speed tape on the H-stab mylars. Otherwise, the ship looks ready to fly. Clamshell trailer with dollys for one man assembly. Trailer appears roadworthy, but has been used for some time with brakes disconnected. Basic instruments, one man rigger, and chute included. Located in Huntsville, AL. Overall, a 45 year old glider that has aged well. Price negotiable.
