Pipistrel Apis/Bee

Selling 2007 APIS MC glider. This is the fixed gear carbon fiber self launched version. Reason for selling, thought I would like to try gliders, it’s just not for me, at 71 years old I’ll just stick with my RV4. The glider will be sold with a current Condition Inspection (I’m an A&P). Below is a summary of what was done to the glider and trailer. Located Falcon Field Mesa AZ KFFZ. Will consider PART trade for classic VW air cooled bug, ghia, baja bug, sand rail or ? Nothing that eats or floats. Engine/Pylon Assy Removed Engine pylon assembly install new BANDO 300-KPS8M-1960 drive belt, and installed new factory upgraded rollers. Replaced damaged pivot arm and indexing ring on upper pulley. Installed new adjustable prop indexing cable. Installed new bearings/races (NSK HR32006XJ and SNR 32005VC12) on the upper main drive pulley. Installed new bungees on retract doors. New fuel filter and new engine spark plugs (BR8EIX). Airframe Cut/buffed/polished/waxed both wings and tail. Installed new safety telfon tape on the mylar gap seals. Installed new solid rubber tailwheel with new bearings. Installed new Timken bearings 6002-2RS on main wheel and new TOST tube, checked brake pads have plenty material left. Lubed and inspected all controls. Trailer Polished/waxed the top fiberglass cover. Installed new LED tail lights. Inspected main tire bearing, installed brand new tires. Has AZ clear title in my name. Glider comes with full covers, ground handling equipment it’s ready to fly. All factory manuals and paperwork included.
