General Description
Paradigm (Strong) Para-Cushion 311 Wedge Parachute is designed to be used in aircraft where headroom is at a minimum, and the backrest is at a straight upright angle with the seat bottom. The parachute is ideal for use in many older trainer sailplanes. Also for use in airplanes such as a Pitts S1, Pitts Model 12, Christen Eagle, RV–4, RV–6, Harmon Rocket, and many others.
Paradigm 311 Wedge includes Harness/Container, Mid-Lite (Standard), 30 FT Lo-Po (Optional), or Lo-Po Lite (Optional) Canopy Ripcord, Lil Grabber Pilot Chute, and Carry Bag.

The 26' Mid-Lite is a highly reliable 24 gore canopy, tested to a 5000 lb shock load, built to withstand the rigors of an emergency bail-out. In production since 1987 the Mid-Lite has proven time and time again that it is the most rugged and reliable reserve you can own!

Lo-Po Lite Canopy (Optional)
The Lo-Po Lite is a smaller, lighter emergency canopy that still features all of the strength, performance, and durability that Strong canopies are known for. Slightly lighter weight than our other emergency canopies, Lo-Po Lite packs up smaller. A perfect companion to Acro Pro, our smallest and lightest Para-Cushion, it's a perfect fit for smaller Pilots and Passengers (Rigged Weight of 175 lbs or less) with a system weight of 15 ½ lbs. Rated 150 KIAS (77.17 m/s) maximum deployment speed.

Inspection and Repack: In the USA, FAA regulations (14 CFR 91.307) require an emergency parachute in use to be inspected and packed by a licensed rigger within the last 180 days, or up to 1 year in countries that do not have a requirement. This preflight routine is mandatory to maintain the safety of your parachute.
