A classic open class glider at a great price. Keep up with the ASG-29s at a quarter of the price. This wonderful bird was brought into the country by Lawrence Wood and competed at the 83 Worlds in Hobbs with Ake Pettersson. It's been in one family for the last 28 years and has been lovingly cared for. You won't find better performance for the dollar.
Mechanically it's in good condition and has been well maintained. Recent work includes new lift pins on the main and outer panels as well as new bushings in the fuselage. The horizontal stabilizer bracket has been replaced as well as the rudder cables in the last two years.
Modern instrumentation, all in very good condition.
The wings were refinished in 1989 with Prestec, and the fuselage refinished in the late '90s with acrylic urethane. Both finishes are showing their age, but are serviceable.
Includes all three tip options; 22m, 24.5m, and 25.5m
