This 15 m single-seater was built in 1976, annual completed this month--May. Standard instrumentation (speed, vario, altimeter, radio, compass). In good/fair condition, this plane is a very nice flyer, sensitive on the controls and fun to fly. Has removable turtle deck for hooking up spars and controls. The 1965 and 1968 versions of these gliders (S-3) won the world championships. Original empty weight is 507 lb, gross weight 772, but the pilots weight limit is 180 lbs. Max. speed 130 mph, min. sink rate 126 ft/min or just over 1.1knot. Comes with tube-type trailer. Located Spartanburg, SC.
