Monnett Monerai

I purchased this plane a few years ago in hopes of making it into a sculpture and never got around to it. It is time to let it go to someone who can use it as a prop outside of an airport or refurbish it to fly again. I am not a pilot and have no idea what refurbishing it entails. It was FAA certified as an experimental aircraft at one point. The plane is in ok condition, as it has been in the custom trailer for its entire life. I have everything that came with it, including the build manual, all the owners notes and the original bill of sale for the kit for $6000 in 1983. It is all aircraft aluminum and fiberglass, with a steel cage in the cockpit. It has flight instruments including FPM, Airspeed and Altitude. It does not have a motor. I also have a bunch of parts that came with it. I never put the wings on, but the guy I purchased it from had them on when he showed it to me. I have the entire build manual, bill of sale and build notes from the original owner. I also have the title from Montana. The trailer is a bit rough from being outside, but it is sturdy enough to tow it. I put new tires on it a few years ago. It will need a temporary brake light system to tow it out. (The wiring is probably shot) So a temporary setup from Auto Zone or similar would work. The photo shows the trailer a few years back. It is a bit rougher than that now. Also Could be used for a prop, a ceiling hanger at a bar or restaurant etc. weighs only 250lbs. Asking $3000 OBO. Pickup in 08223. Cash and carry.
