Much loved UQ has finally had its time supplanted by my two kids - its now time to let someone else enjoy flying her. Lots of extras including all the ground handling equipment (cobra wing wheel, M&M tow bar, two Wings&Wheels wing stands, etc), National 425 parachute, Kevlar oxygen bottle for the Mountain High system (only one that fits in the LS bottle tube), wings re-profiled and refinished, and elevator/rudder refinished by M&H in early 2000s and essentially perfect (very shiny in the photos), all wiring professionally replaced 2011. Becker rebuilt and Garmin GPS (for SN-10) permanently installed at that time. Ridge Sewing and also light grid canopy cover, impact absorbing foam in the seat. New landing gear strut last year, new canopy strut the year before.
This particular LS-3a is a great first glass glider. You can do the entire takeoff in 0-degree flaps and start using them later when more comfortable. Put in landing flaps at the IP and then fly a normal pattern.
