Texas Soaring Association is offering for sale a Blanik Solo L-33 donated by the estate of a deceased member (purchased new). Ship has been in storage the past 10 years. Included is a factory closed trailer with full ground support equipment. Trailer is in excellent condition, with 3 new tires and new tow hitch. The glider is in very good condition, but has several issues; all logbooks were discarded by the family, right outer wing panel has a skin repair lacking documentation, main wheel has corrosion on the rim, landing gear shock absorber needs repressurization, ailerons have been removed for repair inspection. A relatively small amount of effort by someone with the proper expertise can get this outstanding all-metal ship back in the air. Priced accordingly.
TSA will consider selling the package, or trailer and ship separately. Reason for sale: TSA already has three 14m class ships. Asking $10,000 for complete package with pickup in Texas.
