A great touring motorglider that soars! Has flown thousands of hours with the engine off. Two seats, retractable gear, flaps and dive brakes, all metal construction except ailerons, rudder and elevators. Completely refinished in 2004 and still excellent. The engine is upgraded to a 2165 CC VW based with electronic ignition. Propeller is Hoffmann three position. Has original 10 gallon fuel tank and 6 gallon auxiliary. Consumption when flying as an airplane is about 4 gallons per hour at 100 MPH.
The Brasov is located in Southeastern Utah and is flown regularly.
