The Twin Astir is a fantastic transitional trainer for due to the high useful load (461 lbs), retractable landing gear, and a glide ratio of 38:1. The canopies were replaced in 2007 and are in excellent shape, and new custom cushions were added this year. This ship has no history of significant damage and minor gelcoat repairs over the years have kept it in beautiful condition and is in compliance with all Air Worthiness Directives.
