One of the highest performance sailplanes in the world HW owned by famous German pilot Hans-Werner Grosse. The sailplane was built especially for Hans-Werner for record flying and is licensed by the LBA in Germany to fly at 960kg. The sailplane can likewise be licensed in this country in the experiemential category to fly at this MTOW of 960kg. The ship is the prototype Eta with the wings being built by Streifeneder of the Glasfaser Flugzeugbau and the fuselage, engine installation and final assembly by Binder of Flugmotoren and Flugzeugbau. The sailplane has been meticulously maintained by Streifeneder for the last 10 years. With a single pilot the ship may be configured to fly at 850kg making it legal for open class competition. The sailplane is a self launcher with a fresh engine overhaul with less than 10hr total time. The sailplane has a full set of Jaxida all weather covers and special equipment for ease of rigging.
