Donate your glider - 501(c)(3) Nonprofit Academy

We are welcoming owners, widows and estates to donate sailplanes to the Soar Hawaii Foundation, supporting a noble educational program with tax benefits from the appraised donation. Our unique nonprofit soaring flight academy is unparalleled in it’s ability to deliver incredible value to kids and the public resulting in a massive benefit to future generations of aviators, scientists, engineers and leaders. We pride in having a full “dreams to dream career” path with our professional partnerships. Starting with a solid gliding education, our students are taught from Day 1 with the highest level of safety and risk mitigation training to prepare them for our partner major airline and other professional flight careers - a first of its kind in the country. We need aircraft: Motorgliders, winch-launchable training gliders and composite sailplanes (dual or single seat). All aircraft must meet FAA safety and airworthiness standards, and we have A&P/IA volunteers to help get your glider flying again if it’s close to flyable. Everything helps and we are tremendously thankful for any assistance. We are designing this program to modernize gliding and aviation education in the United States. Our North Shore Oahu gliderport offers 330+ days per year of spectacular soaring weather, including abundant ridge, thermal, convergence and often wave lift conditions.
