  Schempp-Hirth Discus 2b 1998, This glider has a 4 year old as new gelcot finish on it .( $30,000 plus job).with a 2017 Cobra trailer,bought new for this glider . It is like new( $15,000 value  now), blue rub rails nice and blue ,not faded, fenders also nice. Glider came from the Air Force Academy  and was sent to M&H for a total restoration inside and out.                 New interior, seatbelts seatpad and wall fabric, new inteior paint as well,  Canopy like new. Wings have had  up  dated Maughmer winglets installed  to improve performance. I would have to say this Discus 2b glider is as nice a looking glider  as any in the country. Looks new,  trailer floors shines as new. This glider runs well at 85 to 90 knots while not giving up  much altitude. I have not put many hours on this glider due to our towplane down for a while.                                                                                 I paid more for this glider than asking price. I am selling because I needed a glider with a motor and have bought one,  due any day now. If you are wondering .  I do not have a perfect glider just a  very, very, very nice gider with a lot of performane  for the money.    New in box is a Power flarm Fusion with all hardware cost $1800,  $30,000 refinish and a $15,000 as new Cobra and extra instrument panel if you wanted to rearrange the location of gauges,               Oxygen bottle only.
