Actively flying nice example of a Phoebus A-1 with a useful load of 224 pounds (212 w/oxygen). Stabilator refinished by Fidel in Moriarty in 2015. The exterior condition of this glider is better than "good" but I didn't want to call it "excellent" as there are some small areas that have some cracking in the surface paint. The underlying structure is solid. It gets favorable comments when I take it to other glider fields. It's a fun glider to fly with a about a 36:1 glide ratio, and due to the flying stabilator it is very responsive in pitch. I have many recent photos showing more detail than the ones in this ad that I am willing to share with a prospective buyer. Spare canopy blank available. The trailer is very functional although it loads from the front (hitch end) of the trailer. Not bad, just different. You can look at OLC flights I did in this glider starting in 2012.
