Aircraft is the Niedrauer NG-1. Designed with the goal of increasing performance over the BG-12. Construction finished in 1971. 15 meter wingspan. Large span 85 degree flaps provide the option for very steep approaches. Documented flight in logs to 30,000 ft. 35:1 glide ratio. Beautiful craftsmanship in all wood construction. Exterior covered in lightweight fiberglass. Extremely well sealed. New airspeed indicator. Great records, including receipts from the original purchase of wood in 1969. Currently flying. Aircraft has always been kept in the trailer or in a hangar to my knowledge. Includes enclosed Schweizer trailer modified for NG-1.
