1974 Schweizer SGS 1-35, N65882, SN 2. TT 497 HRS. The 1-35, a rugged all-metal aircraft, was first flown in 1973, a total of 101 were made. Great for club or personal use. Stall speed 36 MPH with full flaps, minimal land out roll for off-field landings. 35:1 XC performance, 90° flaps, no dive brakes. Cleveland 91-7A hydraulic brake. Empty weight at last W&B on 2016-10-29: 486 lbs. Owned by current owner since 1989, stored in hangar. In fine shape. Hardware fixed over last 3 years as needed: new main tire, new harness, new temperature gauge, newly re-conditioned altimeter and variometer. Paint is 7 out of 10. Canopy in good shape. All AD's complied with. Paperwork and registration all up to date. Complete set of records and photos. In 1977 the ship had minor damage to the nose cap and major damage to the wings. The wings were replaced with factory ones that were in a flood but reworked before installation. Canopy replaced at same time. Was flown in the Nationals at Minden in 1975.
