The Central Alberta Gliding Club had a hangar collapse that damaged our fleet. We replaced the fleet but were fortunate to also find another Bergefalke III locally that we could use to replace the left wing of our aircraft that was damaged in the collapse. We have a servicable Bergefalke III, a spare Bergefalke fuselage, horizontal stab and right wing, original canopy and experimental canopy, and trailer. The Berge could use some TLC but otherwise in flyable condition.
Some unique histroy, this Berge flew with the Canadian Forces in Germany before being shipped to CFB Cold Lake where it was flown until the late 90's when our club brought it to Central Alberta. The aircraft was recovered with extensive attention to detail in 2005.
