Must sell -- need the room! Make me a low-ball offer! I may just take it! This is a project for someone with the right skills. (I don't have them.) The glider was in an accident in 2006 and sold by the insurer as salvage. Repairs were made (it is a pretty ship) but no records are available as to who did them and exactly what was done. I am aware of the following issues: 1) The FAA de-registered the glider in 2017. 2) While I have documentation, from the insurance company, of sale to the person from whose estate I purchased the glider, we are missing the bill of sale. There seems to be a process to resolve this but you will need to contact the FAA to determine what needs to be done. 3) Trailer is in good shape. 4) Needed repairs: a) 7-8 inch scratch on underside of right wing, b) bent tail wheel and main wheel axle. c) Scratched/spider cracks in canopy due to poor clearance in trailer. d) cracked gear door. Depending on offer, I "may" keep the Cambridge Nav Director/vario.
