This glider was built in 1972 by Otto Zauner, a FAA certified Repairman-Aircraft Builder. Otto competed in many soaring competitions with this glider. Tom Knauff told me he knew Otto. The wings are Schreder HP-16 wings. An acquaintance of mine purchased the glider for the purpose of designing a FES (Front Electric Sustainer) system for it. He designed the nose attachment for the Predator 19Kw engine that is included. The current price of the Plattenberg Predator electric engine is over $2,000. There is a 3 blade, folding propeller as you can see in the photos, which costs over $380.The MGM 2X series controller costs over $375 along with the power cables. The 10 Lithium Polymer (PiPo) batteries are manufactured in the US by MaxAmp.com .They are model 9000XL 25.9 Volts and 10 batteries sell for over $4,000. The $180 battery charger is included. The 10 LiPo batteries are enclosed in a stainless steel, fireproof box which sells for $330. The battery box is located along the main spare. The
