1985 Grob 102 Standard Astir III
The most recent version with the more aerodynamic nose. Very easy to fly with very benign flight characteristics. Nose hook with no wing drop tendencies. Good, smooth (but not perfect) gel coat. Several long cracks at the corners of the spoiler boxes but 95% of the glider has zero crazing. Has not been sanded. No significant damage history. This is the original gel which is known for being durable. No outstanding AD's, and it's recent annual was March 2021.
Total hours:400. Panel rebuilt last year. LX9050 with V8 vario, S10 backup vario, Winter altimeter, Flarm and Flarmview, dual lipo batteries, relief system and new main and tail tires.
Recently painted Cobra clamshell trailer in excellent condition. All tow out gear and accessories. 100% ready to fly with nothing needed. Additional picture upon request.
