Grob G 103C Twin III Acro

Grob 103C Twin III Acro with open trailer. This aircraft has been sitting on the trailer (covered) for the past 4 years and is showing the time. It is in need of some work to bring it back into service, which is beyond the cost I want to invest in it. I can send the inspection report with the details, as necessary. Basically, a host of minor to moderate corrosion which can be serviced or repaired. It is still very serviceable and with the right TLC it can become a beautiful flying machine once again. There is approximately 2900 hours left on the 12,000 hour life (with life extension inspections). In the right hands, or as a project, the aircraft is very much serviceable, and can provide many years of great flying. Positives: Relatively new glass. Was replaced after the original was smashed in vandalism. Brand new webbing. New Trig 91 radio with panel for each cockpit (uninstalled). Relatively descent airframe. This aircraft is modified with and ADA equipment for hand control of the rudder. Not so positive:s Needs a lot of TLC and work to deal with corrosion and some grazing on the fuselage. The useful load is around 310 lbs based on AD 2006-19-14 R2. Side Note: This AD is in error with regard to the gross weight, as it has improperly used the data table from the manufacturer's bulletin for another model. This is being presented to the FAA FSDO's office, with hopes that a waiver can be issued which will return the gross weight to the original specs and increase the useful load to around 350-360 lbs. This aircraft has the potential to be a very nice airplane. Even with the current gross weight restrictions, it could be a very nice single seat airplane for bigger pilots.
