PRICE REDUCED For a Quick Sale. 1978, Entire sailplane refinished in polyurethane in 2010 by Glider Service in Slovenia and only 147 hours since total restoration, Glider Service installed new gear at this time, 2011 Swan Trailer (Cobra like), Airworthiness certificate in Experimental Category and makes a great club or private sailplane. DAR should be able to switch this to a Standard Certification if needed. Glider like new in and out and can take 230 lbs per each seat. These older Twin Astir's are fantastic with handling weight; with factory empty weights of 970 lbs and gross weight ability of 1,345 lbs. Factory Allowable weight was 456 lbs. Great roomy sailplane with plenty of room for bigger people. Like new sailplane and trailer. You would think this glider and trailer just came out of the factory as new. Sailplane & Trailer always stored in hanger. Selling for a friend. Located in Ephrata, WA.
