Purchased in 2016 as a way to expand my XC skills, and this has been a phenomenal ship to do it in (Gold Distance, 435K triangle, diamond climbs, etc). Flap control is incredibly effective for short field landings and is very easy to learn.
- Brand new tinted/UV-protected canopy fitted by UH in 2018, W&B updated in 2018
- Instrument console replaced and rewired for Bluetooth/V7 setup - easily connect android or iphone devices to Oudie, LXNAV V7 and LX Nano recorder!
- MH Oxygen regulator and cannula with D size tank (last used in 2020)
- Water bags have been removed from the wings, plumbing repurposed for pilot relief system (uses Camelback connectors)
- landing gear warning alarm when flaps are lowered past 30-degrees (90-degree flaps provide incredible glide-path control)
- Factory PIK Trailer and tow-out gear restored and repainted in 2020, all in great condition. Trailer tows easily behind subaru crosstrek.
