f.u.n.k.e. Avionics FSG8 VHF Mobile Transceiver
General Description
f.u.n.k.e. Avionics FSG8 VHF Mobile Transceiver is the successor of the well–known “yellow briquettes” FSG4 and FSG5 and complies with the reduced channel separation of 8.33 kHz. About f.u.n.k.e. Avionics
f.u.n.k.e. AVIONICS was initially created in 2008 under the name Funkwerk Avionics as a company within the German Funkwerk–Group, being a result of a merger between the former Filser Electronic GmbH, Waal/Bavaria, and the aerospace business unit of Euro Telematik AG, Ulm. In 2012 Funkwerk Avionics was sold by Funkwerk, the majority of the shares was taken by a German industrial group, the current f.u.n.k.e. MITTELSTANDS GmbH. f.u.n.k.e. (fabrication, utilities, network, know–how, engineering) hereby reflects the industrial focus. As a consequence Funkwerk Avionics changed the name into f.u.n.k.e. AVIONICS at the end of 2013. Being part of an industrial group of small and medium sized enterprises, f.u.n.k.e. AVIONICS today operates two business lines, avionics products as well as avionics projects.
