Hill HA-S3 Hobby. Designed by Bruno Haufe and Klaus Hill in the late 1960’s, steel tube fuselage with aluminum wings and tail surfaces. All aluminum skin except for fabric covering of the underside of the wings from the main spar rearward; fabric covering of the fuselage below the aluminum turtledeck and aft of the cockpit area rearwards, and with fabric covered elevators and rudder. Rear hinged bubble canopy. Very responsive and well behaved, with no unusual control or flight characteristics whatever. Basic glider instrumentation. On open trailer with new tires. Logbook with 232 hours.
