General Description

uAvionix AV-30C Multi-functional Display - is a highly capable, fully digital, multi-mode instrument that mounts in the legacy 3⅛ inch round instrument panel cutout. It can be field configured as either an Attitude Indicator (AI) or a Direction Indicator (DG), contains an internal battery, and allows for a wide variety of pilot customization. In both operating modes, the pilot may select from a variety of visual styles that are intended to improve visual compatibility with legacy aircraft instrumentation and preserve the look-and-feel of older aircraft applications. A wide variety of supplemental functions, including audio envelope alerting, derived angle of attack presentation, g-load display, and more are provided. An internal battery allows operation for up to 2 hours in the event of aircraft power loss.

When configured as an AI, primary attitude and slip are always displayed. The unused portions of the display area can be customized by the pilot to show a variety of textual and graphical data-overlay fields. Up to 3 pages may be customized by the pilot with a fourth dedicated fully decluttered page.
When configured as a DG, non-slaved direction of flight or GPS track may be configured for display. Multiple display presentations can be selected by the pilot including a compass rose, GPS CDI, and GPS arc view. The unused portions of the display area can similarly be configured for a variety of textual data overlays.

Version AV-30C is certified. *Approved for Part 23 aircraft with speeds of under 200Kts.

uAvionix AV-30E with included AV-LINK WIFI Hub is a highly capable, fully digital, multi-mode instrument that mounts in the legacy 3-1/8 inch, round instrument panel cutout. It can be field configured as either an Attitude Indicator (AI) or a Direction Indicator (DG). It contains an internal battery and allows for a wide variety of pilot customization.

The included AV-Link module pairs perfectly with the AV-30E panel display providing pilots the ability to wirelessly connect a supported ADS-B Receiver, such as ForeFlight Sentry or Sentry Mini, echoUAT, SkyEcho, skySensor, or any standard GDL90 WiFi protocol portable ADS-B receiver with GPS to AV-30E and see live ADS-B traffic displayed in the panel. AV-Link connects inline between the AV-30E and the 15-pin DB harness wired to the aircraft’s systems. After connecting AV-Link, pilots can connect to AV-Link via a computer to update the AV-30E display.

This AV-30E and AV-Link combination are packaged together to offer pilots wireless connectivity to a supported ADS-B receiver.
