Artex ELT 1000 With Rod Antenna

General Description

Artex ELT 1000 With Rod Antenna - is an excellent, cost-efficient option for upgrading standard 121.5 MHz transmitters, which are no longer monitored by the Cospas-Sarsat System. Single output transmits on both 406 MHz and 121.5 MHz using the same RF output and one coax cable. The 406 signal alone produces an accurate position within 1.86 miles and when paired with the aircraft's navigation system via the built-in GPS interface, the ELT's accuracy is further improved to about 110 yards. The GPS interface does not require aircraft power to operate and the remote switch only requires two wires.

*9600 standard baud rate unless otherwise requested.
