S/N 379, First flight in 1973, last flight in 1999.  Currently undergoing extensive rehabilitation with more than 100 items addressed in logbook entries thus far with much more to come.  Hundreds of hours invested and I haven’t even started on the wings.  I’m advertising it now before the work is done so that any specific items wanted can be addressed.  The home-built trailer is a bit on the homely side, but it is fully serviceable and road-worthy with a few recent improvements.  Rebuilt tail dolly, nice wing wheel.  Some of the work on #379 includes:  A new factory panel, overhauled VW900 and Ball 400 varios, factory-fresh Dittel FSG-2T, all new aircraft-grade wiring throughout, new belts and harnesses, new factory upholstery (with new factory air bladders and pumps), custom, hand-carved teak control stick grip (great for when you have sweaty palms), rebuilt control linkages, new cables, rebuilt aileron gimbal, new factory waterbags, new factory gap seals, new factory aileron fences, fresh hydrotest on 22 cu. ft. oxygen bottle.  All ADs complied with, will have new weight and balance and annual prior to delivery.  Yes, that is correct:  I will deliver it for travel expenses. You may recall seeing this glider for sale before.  The difference now is that I am in a distressed financial situation so this time I MUST sell. N127PX, serial 20797, one of the last 20’s built in 1985, contest number 888, 1300 hours total time One of the nicest ASW-20s flying. No damage history but normal wear including some gelcoat cracking on the under side of the wings.  Needs new gap seal tape on top surface.  Always stored in hangar or in box; never left outside. L-mod with winglets. Panel includes Cambridge 302, SN-10B with electric vario, mechanical Sage vario, TRIG Transponder, Becker radio, boom mic, ELT, and Kevlar mounted PDA with Winpilot. Has both wing and tail ballast. Refinished 1995 in gelcoat.  Gelcoat now 7 to 8ish.  Tail ballast dumps using an electric solenoid valve that can be actuated off either the main battery or a separate battery backup. Previous owner installed “desert mod” ventilation that comes in handy on those really hot days. New Schroth 5-point harness, 2 batteries with chargers, plumbed P-system (never used), two wing stands, recent weight and balance, metallic canopy cover.  Komet trailer with fiberglass top, 6 to 7ish but mechanically in good shape. Bearings repacked and surge brake rebuilt to factory spec. Also includes thousands of dollars worth of ground handling gear including tow bar, tail dolly, wing wheel, 1-man rigger, and magnetic competition placards for your vehicle.  This ASW-20C has beaten an ASW-27 in sports class competition. An absolute joy to fly and the most performance for the money.  Glider is kept at the Moriarty airport in New Mexico.
