Schempp-Hirth Tail Skid
General Description
Schempp-HIrth Tail Skid - AR Glider production tail skid for Schempp–Hirth (SH) sailplanes. This tail skid fits the Phoebus, Astir Std II, Janus, Cirrus, Ventus, Nimbus II and other gliders.
These tail skids are constructed with solid polyurethane and cast iron with an inner metal support.
Dimensions for the SH tail skid with metal plate is 80 mm wide x 345 mm long and 68mm high. Dimensions for SH tail skid with roller ball wheel is 80 mm wide x 345 mm long x 78 mm high. The SH tail skid has a flat mounting surface.
