Winter FSZM Hour Meter
Winter's flying hours counters are installed wherever actual flying time has to be recorded, primarily a consideration in training and charter aircraft, although this instrument should not be missing in aircraft operated by clubs or by private individuals, where it likewise permits a check of inspection intervals to be kept.
The flying hours counter has an electrically driven counter mechanism and the readings are in hours and minutes. It is connected to the aircraft’s total pressure sensor and automatically switches on when airspeed increases to 60 km/h. This ensures that actual flying time only is recorded, while secondary times for take off and landing are ignored.
